When your child wants their bedroom redecorated, what do you do? Do you let them choose the décor (even though it may be black walls for a teenager or their favourite cartoon for younger kids) or do you decide so that the style goes with the rest of the house?
A balance between the two is the way to go for harmony. A colour scheme that tones with the rest of the house with accents of your child’s personality is an ideal compromise. For example, you choose the furniture and they choose the wall colour which is easy to change when they tire of their original choice.
